Present Time

It was almost a year ago the day I met her. Since going my new home, my adopted human has gotten me two minions. In September of 2012 she brought home a tiny furball for me to boss around. As it turns out this 'fur ball' was what is called a 'siberian husky'. What an indecent breed. I named her Yuki because she seemed yucky, a fitting and deserving name in my opinion. At first we were inseparable, I mean who could resist me, but I soon became disgruntled to learn her true appearance and kept my distance. She only cared for pats and belly rubs, and often came up to my human asking for attention. What foolishness it was, a true dog is always on guard to protect his human, you don't just go and embarrass yourself in front of your pet. It would be as if the human owned you! Regardless of our disagreement in behavior, a few months passed contently enough, and in April of 2013 my adopted human finally got me a willing servant. He was tall with red hair and blue eyes, everything you could dream of - and best of all he was already minion trained! He was also one of those 'siberian huskies', however he did not make silly noises like the other one. He was eager to please me, his master. He often performed tricks like 'shake' or 'bow'. At the dog park he put the little one in her place and showed her how a true dog should act, something I was unable to do due to my lack of desire to teach her and my position of protecting the human. He has such patience with the dumb rock. That's when I decided on his name, Link. After all, he was the hero I was looking for. With him around, I could solely focus on protecting my human and not have to worry about yucky - she is after all my minion, even if she is useless, and he would be at her side at all times. Life is good, my human is also progressing nicely, when we got home she prepared myself and the minions a special treat. She's coming along, pretty soon my human should be giving me table scraps on command, but /thats/ going to take some training. Who knew pets were such hard work?

The Day I Met Her

I remember it all like it was yesterday. I was sitting in a show case, waiting for my time to shine. The moments came and went as people held me but found better things to do. And that was bullshit. Then one day, I was practicing my lines for an upcoming audition, when they interrupted me and put me in her arms. What the hell, you don't just grab a man when he's in the middle of something. But whatever. So I pretended I didn't mind and allowed her to hold me. Suddenly they replaced the piece of plastic around my neck with a nice new blue collar and leash. What were they, presents to appease me? Hah. As if those lowly possessions could raise her standing in my eyes. I wagged my tail just to humble her, and the biggest smile crossed her face. That's when I decided to adopt her and go with her to my new home. I needed a change of scenery anyway. Hopefully she has proper staff there who can meet my demands.
